This collection is based around a piece I painted last year, Merde. A girl sitting in the warmth of her own aura, peaceful and glowy. A ballet inspired painting, meaning good luck and radiating good energy. This version an abstract brunette with a background of deep blue, and dusty greens.
Strong, feminine, and relaxed, she has a calming and contemporary to feel her. In the ballet world, “merde” is said to one other before a performance as a form of “good luck.”
